Zwiększenie liczby akcesoriów (klimatyzacja, pompy wspomagania kierownicy, alternatory, pompy wody, pompy próżniowe, itp.) oraz bardzo silnie zapylone środowisko robocze, w którym temperatura eksploatacyjna sięga nawet 130° C, sprawiły, że niezbędne stało się ulepszenie zastosowanych materiałów oraz technologii konstrukcyjnej.

HT POWER CARBON Timing Belts

Designed for a wide range of applications including roller chain replacement or V-belt conversion, pumps, high performance vehicles, high torque-low speed machines, as well as material handling equipment in aggregate, food processing, pulp/paper, wood processing, distribution and agriculture.

The Dayco HT Power Carbon synchronous belt structure has the best combination of advanced and innovative materials for the most demanding applications. It has a hybrid cord made from a combination of glass for high chemical compatibility with HNBR compound and carbon fibers for high mechanical resistance of the belt as well as high precision meshing of the teeth in the sprocket grooves. The polymer compounds used in the belt are combined with aramid chopped fibers to offer improved stiffness and designed to provide extreme resistance to mechanical stress, elevated temperatures and aggressive fluids and chemicals. With excellent dimensional stability, strength and flexibility, along with low noise and low friction, it is meant for high load performances, offering the best in shock load resistance and the highest temperature resistance, -22°F (-30°C) to 266°F (130°C). Funkcją pompy wody jest chłodzenie silnika poprzez wytwarzanie wymuszonego obiegu płynu chłodzącego.

Główne elementy pomp to:

  • Łożysko podtrzymujące wał, na którego jednym końcu zamontowane jest koło pasowe (zębate lub PV) lub koło zębate, a na drugim uszczelka oraz wirnik.
    Łożyska, zwymiarowane w zależności od prognoz obciążenia, którym będą poddawane, zazwyczaj występują w dwóch wersjach: kulkowej lub kulkowo-rolkowej i odporne są na wysokie prędkości obrotów przy bardzo dużych obciążeniach.
  • Wirnik oraz geometria jego łopatek, mające za zadanie optymalizację przepływu płynu chłodzącego, zapewniają wysokie osiągi, dużą sprawność oraz niskie ryzyko kawitacji.
  • Sercem pompy jest dławnica lub uszczelnienie, które w ostatnim czasie uległo znacznej modyfikacji: zamieniliśmy bowiem uszczelnienia mechaniczne na uszczelnienia zupełne.
