Dayco’s heavy-duty serpentine belt kit is OE-engineered to perform in the most demanding environments where safety and productivity are essential. The belt in the kit features diesel grade construction treated to resist heat and stretching, as well as handle higher torque and power pulses. The tensioner has a unique flat spring design that helps prevent fluctuations, and helps avoid separation of the housing – a key failure many technicians see from competitive products. It also comes with heavy-duty dual bearing pulleys designed to withstand the most extreme conditions.

Dayco heavy-duty poly-V serpentine belts are made from EPDM material to resist heat and are compliant with the latest standards, guaranteeing resistance, reliability, low noise and longer service life. We’ve combined raw-edge construction with a specially formulated polyester cord treatment to ensure the best performance on drives that still utilize V-belts. The Dayco heavy-duty V-belt also offers excellent resistance to repeated flexing and protection against heat, oil and grease, as well as the strength, stability and reliability required for vehicles that still need a heavy-duty V-belt.

Designed for applications where the OE pulley design requires the use of two V-belts joined together with a common backing.

Dayco banded V-belts offer the increased strength needed for heavy-duty applications requiring a banded product. The banded V-belt’s raw edge construction, three-ply laminated fabric and EPDM design ensure superior gripping power while the bottom cog construction provides extreme flexibility and cooling. By combining two belts using the common backing process, Dayco banded V-belts greatly reduce the tendency for single belts, which when subjected to fluctuating load tensions may come off or turn over in multiple pulley drives.

Meeting or exceeding OE specifications for fit, form and function, the Dayco heavy-duty water pump uses only case-hardened roller bearings per OE design and is TS16949 certified. The outside is hardened, but the inside allows for some flex without breaking the bearing. Designed with an improved OE engineered impeller for better performance and cast iron material for enhanced durability and increased longevity, these powerhouse water pumps really go the distance.

Dayco’s GOLD LABEL® heavy-duty flex radiator hose is hand-built with neoprene rubber, heavy-duty fabric and an embedded wire reinforcement for high burst strength and collapse resistance. With a corrugated ribbing that provides excellent flexibility while helping prevent kinks, the hose’s heavy-duty construction stands up to detrimental environmental elements, such as ozone, coolants, coolant additives and temperature variations of -40°F (-40°C) to +212°F (+100°C). This hose meets or exceeds SAE J20R5, Class C requirements for heavy-duty applications.

The Dayco GOLD LABEL® silicone heater hose is engineered to resist aging caused by heat, chemicals, oils and other elements. Made with special silicone compounds and reinforced with a ply of braided polyester yarn, this hose sustains up to six times longer service life than an ordinary coolant hose when installed with a lined hose clamp. In addition to being extremely flexible, the Dayco GOLD LABEL® silicone heater hose meets the requirements of SAE 20R3, Class A and has a temperature rating of -40°F (-40°C) to +350°F (+175°C).

Dayco air brake hoses feature a high quality, smooth rubber cover that is weather, abrasion and ozone resistant that is reinforced by four textile spirals for a rated minimum burst pressure of 900 psi (225 psi maximum working pressure). The aWEARness gauge helps technicians pinpoint wear on EPDM belts by measuring specific characteristics – like depth, profile and number of cracks. By placing the notched area lengthwise over the ribbed section of the belt, this pocket size device quickly and easily identifies the potential of serpentine belt failure. If there are more than four cracks per inch in the belt, technicians should replace the belt.
