Heavy-Duty Warranty Policy

Heavy-duty products supplied by Dayco are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions of recommended usage for a period of 24 months after installation or 150,000 miles/241,401 kilometers, whichever occurs first.

This includes Dayco heavy-duty serpentine belts, hoses, tensioners, pulleys and water pumps.

Dayco’s liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of, at its option, the repair or replacement of any product which is determined to be defective upon return to Dayco. Shipping charges to be prepaid, with Dayco’s prior written authorization.

This warranty does not apply to any product which has been improperly installed, maintained, or has been subjected to improper operation or use.

Heavy-duty serpentine belt kits supplied by Dayco are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions of recommended usage for a period of 36 months after installation or 250,000 miles/400,000 kilometers of use, whichever occurs first.

Dayco’s liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of, at its option, the repair or replacement of any product which is determined to be defective upon return to Dayco. Shipping charges to be prepaid, with Dayco’s prior written authorization. In order for this warranty to be valid, the heavy-duty serpentine belt kit must be professionally installed by a licensed repair facility or technician and the serpentine belt kit must be installed on an engine in good condition.

A purchase and repair receipt must be provided when filing a claim. This warranty does not apply to any product which has been improperly installed, maintained, or has been subjected to improper operation or use.
