Heavy Duty Poly-V / Serpentine belts are produced for heavy duty vehicles and buses. With multiple accessories (air conditioning, power steering pumps, alternators, water pumps, vacuum pumps, etc.) and operating conditions with temperatures up to 130° C/266° F have made it essential to upgrade the materials and construction technology.

Heavy Duty Poly-V / Serpentine belts are all made of EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomers) material and are compliant with the latest standards required by the automotive industry, guaranteeing resistance, reliability, low noise and a longer service life.

Designed for efficient power transmission to the vehicle accessory, Dayco has combined raw-edge construction with Dayco’s patented top cogged design to ensure the top performance on vehicles and drives that still utilize HD V-belts. HD V-Belt delivers more flexibility and increases airflow around the belt so it runs cooler and lasts longer. Three plies of neoprene impregnated fabric resist heat, oil and grease while a specially-formulated treatment of the polyester cord provides the strength, stability and reliability that are required from one of the most innovative, top-performing HD V-belts for nearly 30 years.

Water pumps are an integral part of many primary drive systems and the latest designs contribute to today’s low friction “Green” primary drive system requirements.

Dayco water pumps are designed to meet OE specifications. From raw material to complete assembly, all quality elements are controlled in-house. Each water pump is assembled using programmable Logic Control (PLC), providing quality data during the manufacturing process.

Dayco thermostat and housing gaskets provide the installer the complete solution when replacing a thermostat. Available in rubber O rings for thermostats and in heavy duty paper for thermostat housing applications. The Dayco range covers most vehicle applications.

The Expansion Tank is more complex as it is always under pressure, the pressure cap is located on this tank rather than the radiator itself. Typically the expansion tank is at the highest point in the cooling system with the coolant being continuously cycled through the tank, here the pressure released from the hot coolant fills the top half of the tank and acts as a force to push the coolant back into the system.

Designed to replace molded or curved radiator hoses in today’s heavy-duty vehicle applications.

Dayco’s GOLD LABEL® heavy-duty flex radiator hose is hand-built with neoprene rubber, heavy-duty fabric and an embedded wire reinforcement for high burst strength and collapse resistance. With a corrugated ribbing that provides excellent flexibility while helping prevent kinks, the hose’s heavy-duty construction stands up to detrimental environmental elements, such as ozone, coolants, coolant additives and temperature variations of -40°F (-40°C) to +212°F (+100°C). This hose meets or exceeds SAE J20R5, Class C requirements for heavy-duty applications.

The Dayco GOLD LABEL® heavy-duty straight radiator hose is made with the highest quality woven mesh fabric reinforcement, neoprene cover and nitrile tube compounds to withstand the most corrosive elements in diesel engines. Providing protection from oil, coolants, coolant additives and heat, with a temperature rating of -40˚F (-40˚C) to +212˚F (+100˚C), this hose meets SAE requirements J20R1, Class B Tube, Class C Cover, standard wall construction.

This hose meets the requirements for SAE J20R2, Class B Tube, Class C Cover, standard wall construction. It can also withstand temperatures from -40°F (-40°C) to +212°F (+100°C).

Dayco GOLD LABEL® heavy-duty heater hoses are made with the highest quality EPDM compounds and heavy-duty spiral reinforcement to withstand high coolant and under-hood temperatures of -40°F (-40°C) to +257°F (+125°C). This hose exceeds SAE 20R3, Class D-1 standard wall construction requirements as well as Type EC electro-chemical requirements.

The Dayco GOLD LABEL® silicone heater hose is engineered to resist aging caused by heat, chemicals, oils and other elements. Made with special silicone compounds and reinforced with a ply of braided polyester yarn, this hose sustains up to six times longer service life than an ordinary coolant hose when installed with a lined hose clamp. In addition to being extremely flexible, the Dayco GOLD LABEL® silicone heater hose meets the requirements of SAE 20R3, Class A and has a temperature rating of -40°F (-40°C) to +350°F (+175°C).

The Blue Air Line is a lightweight pneumatic hose with good flexibility.
It is designed for the conveyance of air up to pressures of 250 PSI, making the product ideal for portable pneumatic equipment.
The hose has a combination of special compounds which ensures excellent UV resistance.

Chem-Air combines the features and benefits of the Blue airline hose with a chemical resistant tube. Chem-Air exceeds the flexibility of standard airline hoses and retains excellent kink resistance, with the addition of a chemical resistant virgin PVC tube.
The combined features of Chem-Air will provide benefits to the stockist and user alike. With the potential for reduced inventory and multiple use, it is ideally suited to many industrial and agricultural applications.

Designed for use on truck and bus compressed air brake systems identified by the assembler per DOT FMVSS 571.106.

Dayco air brake hoses feature a high quality, smooth rubber cover that is weather, abrasion and ozone resistant that is reinforced by four textile spirals for a rated minimum burst pressure of 900 psi (225 psi maximum working pressure). It’s also engineered with a seamless synthetic inner tube that provides temperature protection from ‐40˚F (‐40˚C) to +212˚F (+100˚C). This hose meets SAE J1402 and DOT FMVSS 106, Type A requirements for ⅜” and ½” SP dimension hoses.

Designed as a fitting to aid in conveying air from an exterior air filter to the engine.

Dayco GOLD LABEL® heavy-duty hump hose, elbows and reducer sleeves are made from molded neoprene rubber, with smooth radii and inside surfaces to maximize air flow and keep the air column streamlined and out of the turbulent flow range. This line of fittings has a temperature range of -40°F (-40°C) to +250°F (+121°C). Dayco GOLD LABEL® hump hose fittings allow up to 20° of misalignment and cushions the system from harmful vibrations.

The vibration damper is a device that absorbs the vibrations generated by the driving shaft. It is widely used in motorcars to prevent any discomfort, damage and failure due to vibrations.

It usually serves as a guide pulley for Poly-V belts and to strengthen the auxiliary components (water pump, power steering, compressor, etc.).

The increase in engine performance and the continuous increase in accessory components have been considered during the design development and choice of materials used for all belt drive components.
