Designed to carry heated coolant from the engine block to the heater core and return it to the engine, the Dayco standard heater hose is constructed with EPDM compounds and a spiral reinforcement for high burst strength and excellent heat resistance. Similar to SAE 20R3, Class D-2, it has a temperature rating of -40°F (-40°C) to +257°F (+125°C).
