Gianluca Cariccia joined Dayco in October 2009 and serves as Chief Technical Officer, Global Propulsion Solutions.
With his strong technical skills and experiences, he has held increasing responsibility within Dayco such as Global Director for Metal Technology and Products both on OE and Aftermarket business before leading the global activities for new products, process development, innovation, testing and technology. In addition to his current role, Gianluca is responsible for an international project on researching hybrid system solutions in cooperation with the Polytechnic of Turin. Gianluca also holds several patents.
Prior to joining Dayco, Gianluca worked for Manuli Automotive as Chief Engineer for Product and Industrial processes. He earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic of Turin and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Bocconi, Business School of Milan.
