May 17, 2019 – Dayco will once again be exhibiting at Autopromotec, in Bologna, Italy from 22-26th May, where it will be showcasing a selection of its premium quality power transmission products and technical innovations, from a prominent position in hall 16, C52.
“Dayco is a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries,” explains EMEA Marketing Manager, Andrea Centrella, “and events such as Autopromotec allow us the opportunity to communicate the company’s global strategy and corporate branding, inform visitors of the depth of our product range and technical capabilities, as well as to assist and advise on ‘best practices’ to those responsible for installing them.”
As a pioneer in the industry, Dayco has brought many new concepts to the market and products such as High Tenacity (HT) timing belts and belt-in-oil (BIO) have allowed the company to establish a strong reputation for technical innovation.
“Autopromotec provides us with the ideal platform to showcase our latest product developments,” Centrella continues, “which include the Dayco BSG 48 V – a stop/start hybrid engine system – and a crankshaft spring de-coupler for both light and heavy-duty applications. In addition, we will also use the exhibition to introduce thermostats, our latest range extension, that perfectly complements our existing portfolio and adds to the overall Dayco aftermarket offering.
“Alongside these important ongoing product developments, it is essential that we do all we can to assist the technicians responsible for installing our products, to enable them to carry out their work to the best possible standard. As a result, we shall also be providing technical training throughout the event.
“The on-stand presentations, which concentrate on timing drive system design and troubleshooting, BIO applications, poly-V belts and auxiliary drive control, contain specific examples of the issues technicians face during product replacement and how to deal with them correctly, as well as the importance of replacing all the components specified in the vehicle manufacturer’s service instructions.
“As a world leader and original equipment manufacturer, Dayco has unrivalled design expertise and knowledge of today’s drive systems, which can help technicians understand their complexity and the challenges that service and repair work present. Therefore, useful technical information is key to ensure technicians are able to undertake this work with confidence.”
