Position           : Engineer                                                                      Grade              : 3

 Department     : Quality Assurance – Customer Support       Reporting        : GM – QA

Major Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility related to various OEM Customers support in terms of coordination and documentation support for various future and ongoing projects and approvals.

 Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM like Tata Cummins, Ford, JCB, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra etc.) Customers Specific Requirements and building rapport with them.
  • Liaison with OEM Customers for new part development
  • Participation in new project review meeting to meet OEM Customers specific requirement
  • Inter function/Department co-ordination to meet OEM Customers requirements.
  • Project Review meeting with OEM Customers and make action plant to execute the task.
  • Conversant with PPAP Document preparation related to new product development.
  • Warranty Claim Analysis
  • Submission of PPAP Document to Program Management Department for new part/product development.
  • Working knowledge about following Customers Portals: –
    1. Mahindra and Mahindra Portal.
    2. Ford Covisint Portal
    3. Maruti Suzuki Portal
    4. Cummins Portal
  • Submission of E-SREA (Supplier Request for Engineering Approval) request and its approval.
  • Customer Complaint Handling and its related following activities: –
      1.        8 – D Submission in case of any customer complaint.
      2.        Root Cause Analysis of Problem as highlighted by customer
      3.       Action Plan submission related to Customer Complaint and its compliance.
  • Coordination in the following areas during a Customer Visit: –
    1. Coordination with concerned department/individuals during a Customers Process Audit.
    2. Part Inspection by Customer in Standard Room
    3. Customer Observation closure through supporting documents submission

Skill Sets          :

  • Exposer of 5-S principles, Team builder, computer literate
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Relationship Building
  • Ability to get things done from others

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of software systems (Auto CAD, CAM)
  • Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.

Job Specification:

Qualification    : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience       : Degree (6 or more Years), Diploma (8 or more Years) Holder.

Industry           : Automobile Sector
