Job description
We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Process Analyst with demonstrated ability to assess facility processes, identify gaps/areas of opportunity, provide improvement recommendations, and facilitate teams to accommodate new and improved process designs using Process Mapping.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with various departments and levels of leadership to conduct ongoing analysis, evaluation and review of current and potential business processes and workflows
- Identify potential process-related areas of improvement and opportunities and provide recommendations to support efficiencies, best-practices and reduce error/risk/inconsistencies
- Deliver key process improvement projects using associated project management methodologies to plan and coordinate actions, including management of status reports, costs, lead times, communication, and deliverables
- Support the definition of new processes and the related integration within entire supply chain by providing feedback on feasibility and impact
- Deal with challenges as necessary through follow up communication and prioritization of actions
- Lead the process of mapping the specifications/requirements of ERP system (BPCS) changeover and ensure proper documentation once changeover is complete (related SOPs/work instructions)
- Manage process mapping for entire Distribution Center by supporting/developing internal documentation standards, identifying process metrics, ensuring optimal efficiency
- Perform data analysis, participate in testing and prepare business cases indicating necessities
- Ensure alignment of system and physical work processes, particularly during new system implementations
- Act as a key business change agent by communicating information, training, and instruction to required personnel as necessary
- Other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain, Project Management and Process Improvements within a warehouse environment (automotive parts distribution preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Six Sigma (Green Belt) Certification considered an asset
- Proven Knowledge of supply chain management, quality control, and general project management techniques
- Automotive experience in Supply-chain environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to explain complex processes to various audiences/teams
- Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Showcase excellent analytical and evaluation skills
- Good human relation skills and ability to influence
- Strong attention to detail
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
