Dayco is looking for ambitious and experienced marketing Engineer/ Specialist to be part of our global OE marketing function. As a marketing Engineer/ Specialist he/she will be responsible for formulation and execution of Marketing Strategies towards profitable growth of the organization. The person must showcase his/her creative side towards promotional literature, brand outreach and consistency. The role will contribute towards the organizational growth and support the organization move forward, always.
Function: Engineer – Global Marketing Communications and Strategic Marketing, OEM Business
Base Location: Manesar, Gurgaon, India
Experience: 6 years or more of relevant experience
Designation: Engineer / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager
Reporting To: General Manager, Global Strategic Marketing & Marcom, OE
Scope: Global Responsibilities for OE business
Travel: On need basis (20-30% of time)
Work Timing: Need flexible working hours. May need to work 12 noon to 8pm IST on most days for better coordination with teams across the globe.
Work Needs: Shall be comfortable and equipped for “Work from Home” to accommodate flexible timings
Principal Responsibilities:
Marketing Communications and Branding (50% time)
Creating marketing plans and execution
Organizing trade shows and customer technical days
Managing marketing budgets
Building multi-media content like presentations (Company, Products, Technologies), Technical Cards / Brochures, Videos to support sales team in lead generation
Create brand reach and engagement via Social Media
Manager PR and create brand awareness (Press Release, Magazine Ads and Advitorials)
Coordinate with plant locations and ensure plant branding as per brand guidelines
Coordination with various service providers and maintain agency relationships
And other assigned Marketing tasks
Co-ordination with Aftermarket Branding and Marketing team
Strategic Marketing / Sales MIS (50% time)
Gather Market intelligence and use the inputs to support product and pricing strategy
Support budgeting and forecasting activity for global OE teams and regions
Coordination with Regional and Global KAMs and build strategic database (pricing intelligence, competition intelligence, and others)
Research database management and managing repository for smooth data sharing
Support research on specific products / technologies / markets
Track industry peers, competition, and technological trends
Support Sales finance and MIS
Essential Qualifications and experience
MBA / PGDM from reputed institute is must
Minimum 6 years or more of previous experience in similar role
Industry experience in automotive/ automotive components / industrial / off-highway
Technical Skills
Expertise in excel, powerpoint and word
Excellent communication skills
Fluent English (Written and Verbal)
Knowledge of Corel Draw, Photoshop and related packages is added advantage
