Position: Deputy Manager Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Managing Director/Plant Head/Unit Head

Major Responsibilities:
• Smooth running and maintenance of Machines.
• Preventive Maintenance Activity

Detailed Responsibilities:
• Collect data for impending problem and initiating action in advance.
• Problem -solving in machines and utilities related to maintenance.
• Ensuring zero maintenance breakdown of machines and equipment.
• Laisioning with HSEB, Electrical Inspectorate Office
• New Machines Installations
• Coordination with Global Team for Imported Machines and Equipment.
• New vendor/supplier development for critical item
• Management of Minimum inventory level for critical spare parts
• Preparation and Management of Maintenance Budget.
• Testing of safety items (safety belts, air receiver, lifter, stacker, hand pallets, transformer, VCB)
• Prepare, adherence and management of Preventive Maintenance Schedule
• Review of maintenance & spare parts status with unit head – daily MIS
• Identification of training needs, relieving staff for training and verification of training effectiveness.
• Maintenance of Chucks and Dies.
• Guidance and supervision for resolving of maintenance problems.
• Monthly review of break down, preventive maintenance records.
• Monitoring of shop floor area & environment aspects
• Scheduling and monitoring of 5-S audits of departments
• Helping in locating external maintenance contractors
• Monitoring of shop floor area & environment aspects
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of MTTR ( Mean Time To Repair) & MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure)
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Ensure that spare parts inventory is not exceeded beyond the inventory norms
• Prepare IMS (Intelligent Maintenance System) procedures, work instructions & Operation control plan

Job Specification:

Qualification : B. Tech
Experience : 15 Years or above of relevant experience
Industry : Engineering /Automotive/Mechanical

Technical Skill Set:

• Knowledge of Maintenance of CNC Machines
o Mazak with Mitsubishi Control
o LMW with Fanuc Control
• Knowledge of Maintenance of VMC Machines
o Premier with Fanuc Control
o AMS with Fanuc Control
• Knowledge of Maintenance of 500 KVA Diesel Sets – Cummins Make
• Knowledge of maintenance of Abro Balancing Machine
• Knowledge of Maintenance of Grinding Machine – Micromatic Make
• Knowledge of Maintenance of SPM
• Knowledge of Maintenance of Hydraulic Presses & Pneumatic presses

Preferential Technical Skill Set
Preference shall be given to candidates with the following skills: –
• Siemens PLC (S -200, S-300, S-1200)
• LAB View Software – Basic Knowledge

Optional but not necessary Technical Skill Set:
• Laser Welding Machine Maintenance
• Laser Marking Machine Maintenance
• Supplier Development Process from New Vendor Development prospective.
• Supplier Quality Assurance Function.
