This exciting opportunity at Dayco Products will develop our Light Vehicle market in the various US Regions through strong execution of sales for the aftermarket channel. The role will require travel for up to 75% of the time and must be located close to a major US airport hub.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategic sales plans and work with the company leadership to ensure desired channel growth is reached.
  • Manage the development and activity of Aftermarket sales; including customer proposals and all customer facing sales support.
  • Call on accounts, develop and make sales presentations for prospective and existing customers and ensure adequate aftermarket support in accordance with the Dayco value proposition.
  • Responsible for effective communications within the customer channel as well as with all Dayco field sales personnel.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing management to segment the market, collect and analyze competitive market intelligence, and sales and marketing strategies to support Dayco national growth plans.
  • Identify customer application needs and communicate commercial and technical support requests to key Dayco leadership
  • Communicate all product promotions, updates, and translate product features into benefits to prospective and existing customers

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Automotive Aftermarket Sales
  • Proven Sales record and ability to develop new business, identify and sell to customer based on their needs
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
  • Strong record of effective presentation and negotiation skills
