Dayco racer David Russell has charged to his second Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship round victory in style at Mount Panorama, sweeping all three races for the first time in his career to deliver a perfect performance for the TekworkX Motorsport<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

\"\"Russell’s race three victory didn’t come easy despite leading away from pole position and gapping the field in the opening laps of the Sunday sprint race.
\nRussell’s speed and defence was steadfast in all three of the closely contested Bathurst Porsche Carrera Cup races over the weekend. Sunday\u2019s race was the curtain raiser before Australia\u2019s Great Race and held in front of a capacity crowd as he held on to claim career race win number 22 and his second round win – his first since Taupo (NZ) in 2024.
\nThe Dayco Ambassador is now in reach of the battle for 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia supremacy, which will continue on the concrete walled streets of Surfers Paradise from October 22 to 24 and will conclude on the streets of Adelaide in November.<\/p>\n

Russell\u2019s three Mount Panorama Carrera Cup race victories were achieved while performing double driving duties, competing in his 16th Bathurst 1000, this year once again joining the PremiAir Racing Chevrolet Supercar team as partner to full time racer James Golding.
\n\u201cIt has been an incredible round for myself and the TekworkX team. We worked hard to tune the car to be better balanced for each of the three races and we certainly achieved that. We head to the final two rounds with a fantastic car and team so I\u2019ll be doing all I can to gain another top three Carrera Cup Championship finish,\u201d Russell said.<\/p>\n
